The most exciting game that I had enjoyed, and played many times (alone) is Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii. Of course there are others but I might as well choose this one. What makes this game fun for me personally is the concept, the music, options it gives, the different characters, and just the game play of solo adventures. The reason I always come back for more of this game is because I have many things to complete, getting awards, and just for the fun of playing my favorite characters.
Now what I imagine the creators had to do in order to make the experience in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is uh, probably not as close to what they had to do, but I will try. One thing is well the type of characters to include, now I do heard things about how they add and or drop characters. But I guess it has to do with the experience because of where the character came from, the moves it does, and I guess how that character fits in the group. Another decisions that I guess had to be there was the solo adventures because they didn't just want the battle alone. Because I guess they didn't want it to be "simple" I guess. Stages and music can be a big part since they could of not have so many different, and unique styles of stages/music.
The surprises that the designers had was the Wi-Fi connection, and the amount of achievements it has. I did not expect that. I understand why (even though they discontinued it) they would of put it. Because they would want us to experience, and play with strangers or compete. Things that would make a good game in my opinion. The amount achievements that it has was also unexpected because I didn't know that this game would have more than battling, and adventuring. I guess it's the value that Jesse S. was also talking about. This of course is what keeps me going back as well. Meaning that the type of experience this would have goals to keep. To keep on going even though it's something simple, and or ordinary.
There are some questions about the designer's choice that I would like to share. One thing is why didn't they give us more characters to battle with? Of course they probably saved it for the Wii U version but still!! It would of been more fun to have more characters, even newer one's that have history within them. Another is why they discontinued the Wi-Fi connection? I was so excited to play with strangers, it would of been more fun. Of course they put this on the Wii U version. Also one thing among the characters is why Ash is not with pikachu and the other pokemons? It would of been better. Of course some of these I would change but at the same time I wouldn't because my team either would approve or just is too difficult to handle. But to recommend I would say none because even though I have complains it wouldn't matter to me because I enjoy this game how it is. I enjoy because of the designer's choice so that I could have this experience with this game. Why would I want to change something so valuable?
